2.30 – 2.40 pm: Introduction by Telmo Pievani (Dept. of Biology, University of Padua; book editor): launch of the book and history of the project;
2.40 – 2.50 pm: Niles Eldredge (book editor): video interview with Ilya Temkin;
2.50 – 4.30 pm: Short presentations by contributors to the Evolutionary Theory book on various aspects of hierarchical approaches to evolutionary theory:

9,30-11:45 am: Internal workshop: participants and invited guests (1st part: current issues in the hierarchy theory of evolution)
12,00-1,15 pm: Public seminar/book launch for faculty, students, and general audience:
12,00 – 12,20 am: Introduction by Ilya Temkin and Emanuele Serrelli. Niles Eldredge video interview with Ilya Temkin;
12,20 – 1,00 pm: Short presentations by contributors to the Evolutionary Theory book on various aspects of hierarchical approaches to evolutionary theory.
